Rico tries his best to convince Jess that Along Came Polly is an underrated comedy, citing Phillip Seymour Hoffman’s brilliant side character and a few strong scenes. The two discuss what the critics said back when the movie first hit theaters, as well as the effectiveness of the gross-out humor in the movie, the love story’s believability, and their opinion of Jennifer Aniston as an actress and leading lady.
